🟨 Gold Seal — Better Planet Approved (Highest Distinction)
The Gold Seal is the highest level of recognition and is awarded to companies that demonstrate exceptional alignment with Better Planet’s mission across multiple impact areas.
Gold Seal companies:
Meet the highest standards for ethics, sustainability, and impact
Demonstrate measurable positive environmental and/or social outcomes
May participate in featured promotion across Better Planet platforms
Receive the Better Planet Approved gold emblem for use on packaging, websites, and marketing materials
This level is highly selective and reviewed by Better Planet and advisory partners.

⚪ Silver Seal — Better Planet Certified
The Silver Seal recognizes companies that meet strong ethical and environmental standards and are actively working toward deeper impact.
Silver Seal companies:
Demonstrate responsible sourcing or eco-friendly practices
Maintain ethical labor and business operations
Are committed to continuous improvement
Receive the Better Planet Certified emblem
This level is ideal for growing brands doing meaningful work and building toward Gold.

The Green Seal recognizes companies that meet strong ethical and environmental standards and are actively working toward deeper impact.
Green Seal companies:
Demonstrate responsible sourcing or eco-friendly practices
Maintain ethical labor and business operations
Are committed to continuous improvement
Receive the Better Planet Certified emblem
This level is ideal for growing brands doing meaningful work and building toward Gold.
Optional Promotions & Revenue Sharing (Flexible)
Approved companies may optionally choose to:
Offer a customer discount (e.g., 10–15%) through Better Planet promo codes
Support Better Planet’s nonprofit mission via a small commission on referred sales
Participation levels and percentages are fully customizable—we understand that not every company operates the same way.
